Palawan Island is 280 miles long and 31 miles wide plus a lot of islands sorrounded on the main land. If you picture the map of Palawan, it lookslike a closed umbrella.
From the northern part of Palawan, there are the Municipalities of Busuanga, Coron, Culion and Linapacan. Coron
is one of the first class municipality.
It stretch in Mindoro on the northeast part of the island and on Borneo on the southwest part. And Balabac Island is located off on the southern tip of Palawan.
While the capital of Palawan is located in the central main land of the Island known as Puerto Princesa City.
There are different dialects that people used to speak but our main language to be known as "Palaweno" is "cuyunin" and our very own "tagalog", both are commonly used as our main languages in the Island.
From the
Northern part to the southern part of the island, you can view a lot of beautiful sugar-white sandy beaches, rivers, hot spring and waterfalls.
You can still find virgin forrests in the Island. You can even find a unique islets, mountain rocks, coral reefs, stalactite and stalagmite that you never ever
seen in your entire life.
Now, there are more
developed resorts which can be a world class, and still there are lots of First class beaches that are under constructions and will open to the public soon.
You can also find a unique place that can belong to a wonders of the world like our very own under ground river.
Now a days, Palawan is known as one of the most favorite place to visit by the local people, celebrities, politicians and a lot of tourists from around the world.
They were even choosing Palawan as their favorite venues for their vacation, wedding, birthday, anniversary celebration and many occasions.
It is because a lot of people loves to enjoy and make there moments memorable while dwelling along with the beauty of natures.
There are also a lot of hotels and restaurants that are really ranking as first class in the province. You can find a cheap and expensive one and food as well.
You will never be boared while on your stay even during nights, there are lots of bars and entertainments you use to visit and enjoy. There are also internet connections and cables if you want to watch local and

those months the sea is really calm.You will surely enjoy and experience the thrill of mountain hiking, scuba diving, kayak, snorkeling, island tour, catching fish and a lot lot more while on your stay or vacation there.
You can reach in the Island by airplane or super ferry. It only takes 2 hours by plane and 14 hours by super ferry from manila. You will surely enjoy to ride the local transportation in the province like tricycle, jeepney and motor boat. You will experince also to drive on rough road on some local areas.
